Army of Two throws gamers into hot spots ripped from current day headlines where they utilize unique TWO man strategies and tactics while seamlessly transitioning between playing with intelligent Partner AI (PAI) and a live player. When one man is not enough, it takes an army of two to fight through war, political turmoil and a conspiracy so vast it threatens the entire world. This is EA's first original title for the next-gen systems. Army of Two is the first game to put players inside tactical warfare involving Private Military Corporations. EA has built this game with co-operative TWO man gameplay as the centerpiece of the experience. Whether you’re playing with PAI or a friend, it's about the TWO man missions, TWO man strategies and the TWO man advantage that really sets this game apart. [Electronic Arts]

Really fun game, only split screen versus system link which is a big downer since it would validate another play through but definitely a fun game. A little short it seemed when we went through it but pure arcade fun. Recommended for rental since it's length but don't pass this up.

this game was alright. a little too repetitive. one guy shoots, collects all the aggro/attention while the other picks off all the baddies. its a good tactic to have incorporated into a game but overdone.

my biggest disappointment was the .50 cal. i was expecting much more devastation but it shot like a .22 rifle.

in the end, this game is only good for one or two playthrus. no more than that. 2.5 out of 5 from me.

This is by far, one of the best Co-Op experiences I've ever had.

My friend and I sat down to play this game earlier this year, and have been through it on varying difficulty levels 5 times. While I can't speak for the online play, there is no more fun to be had than playing this game split-screen with a friend. However, DO NOT play this game if you are not prepared to use Military-Style two-man support tactics. If your game partner is the kind of guy that charges in blind, or thinks that laying down covering fire is boring, you WILL have a bad time. This game is not for everyone...

A thoroughly good co-op experience.
Proper co-op campaign.
Good acheivements.
Good weapons.
Good Gameplay.
Levels can be tough later on and demand a little co-op thought on tactics, which is where co-op really gets fun and rewarding.
Add to this the fact that there is now free downloadable alternative endings, which are very polished and not just a cheap add on.

I'd definately recommend, especially as it can now be picked up reasaonably cheaply.

I love this game. My friend and I could not stop playing it. I guess it wouldn't have been as good if I didn't have somebody to play with but if you and your friend are bored it's totally worth a look.
