The folks over at Neocore Games will be bringing the next installment of their The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing franchise to PC very soon: The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II. Much like a Diablo title, Van Helsing II is a top-down, action-RPG featuring the legendary vampire hunter of fiction.
Up to 4-players online can play together within the main campaign like in the previous title, but now there will be 2 other modes to enjoy as well. Neocore hasn't revealed exactly what these modes are at this time, but hopefully they will include co-op. With lots of new upgrades and features to the gameplay, as well as a modest graphical boost, players should be kept busy for the $14.99 price point. In addition to 2 new character classes and the level cap being increased to 60, this game is shaping up to be quite the upgrade to the original. The provided chart below describes (in comparison to Van Helsing) what will be offered in Van Helsing II:
If you can handle Van Helsing II after the anticipated release of both Diablo III: Reaper of Souls on March 25th, then look forward to the game coming out on April 27th; it looks to be a should be a solid contender. Also: pre-ordering the game will grant you instant access to the Closed Beta currently underway, so be sure to consider that as well. We'll keep our eyes peeled for more information on those modes in the meantime.
