The denizens of Co-Optimus Towers love a challenge as much as we love co-op. Therefore, when FORCED was released on PC we found something that gave us both. The reward we gave the game was a big juicy 5 out of 5. Now Xbox One owners can start to get excited as FORCED is coming soon to their platform of choice.
BetaDwarf went through a lot to get this game made and you can read some insight into the indie game making process in the article they wrote for Co-Optimus. Now that the game is on PC, it would seem that a move to One should be more straight forward:
We’re super excited to be working with the newest console technology, and we are really happy to be able to let a whole new group of potential gladiators experience our game.
FORCED has been built from the ground up to support twin-stick controls, as well as online and local multiplayer, so the transition to console is completely natural. And with Xbox One, we won’t have to worry about shortage of computing power.
The process of getting FORCED onto One should be a quicker than the original build so here is hoping for a 2014 release, as no date has currently been announced. As always, keep a keen eye on Co-Optimus and we will keep you up to date (with the date).
