Cooking Simulator 2 Will Feature Online Co-op

Friends will be able to hop online for cooperative cooking in this upcoming Steam game.

The first Cooking Simulator is, reportedly, a very good cooking game for consoles and PC. How can Big Cheese Studio improve on such a finely crafted meal of a game when making the sequel? Why, with co-op, of course. Cooking Simulator 2: Better Together will feature 2-player online co-op, allowing friends to prepare meals and perform other tasks together. The sequel is heading to Steam at the end of the year.

Here's the official description of Cooking Simulator 2's co-op features:

If you feel that you could use a helping hand, just call up your buddy and together you will overcome any hurdle. They can bring all their gear and expertise and you will reap the rewards together. Don’t feel like working? You can invite them to your apartment or to sandbox mode just to have fun, cook something delicious, spend some time together, or maybe have a food fight?

Doesn't that sound delicious? Other features include:

  • Create your own recipes
  • Collect hundreds of recipes in-game
  • Order and prep supplies
  • Earn experience and prestige
  • Earn a chef's position at a luxury restaurant
  • Relax with your friends and have a nice chat

Cooking Simulator 2 is planned for a Q4 2023 Steam release. While no console versions have been announced yet, they will likely happen in the future. The first Cooking Simulator sells for $19.99 on Xbox, PlayStationSwitch, and Steam, and is currently available on Xbox Game Pass.
