Sony's next portable, the PlayStation Vita, has gotten a release date in North America and Europe. You'll be able to purchase the device in either Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi+3G models for $249.99 and $299.99 respectively on February 22nd, 2012. The 5" OLED screen combines with dual analog joysticks, a rear touch panel, and multiple cameras on the device.
The device already has a handful of cooperative games announced for the Vita and the connectivity options available make it ripe for many more. There's apparently over 100 games in development already for the handheld.
