FFXIV 6.18: The Biggest Changes

Warriors Are Not Afraid

The latest patch, 6.18 for Final Fantasy XIV, provides refinements and several additions to the game rather than new content. Although FFXIV account owners are more excited about patch 6.2, additions such as the Data Center Travel system and a new Japanese data center, Meteor, are equally as important for players to be aware of the changes.

Final Fantasy Battle System

Weekly restrictions have been removed for receiving Unsung Blades of Asphodelos from the Asphodelos: The Fourth Circle.

Adjustments made to Pandaemonium Asphodelos (Savage) are the following:

  • The weekly restriction has been removed when receiving rewards from coffers, and two treasure coffers will always appear.

  • There will no longer be weekly entrance restrictions on all areas in Pandaemonium: Asphodelos (Savage).

  • All circles of Pandaemonium: Asphodelos (Savage) are accessible.

Aglaia Coin is required to enhance weapons purchased with Allagan tombstone of astronomy, Radiant Roboarant, which can be purchased from Nesvaaz of Radz-at-Han. After getting the Aglaia Coin to enhance your equipment by J'lakshai, Wilmetta, or Nesvaaz, you must speak with Khaldeen in Radz-at-Han and exchange the FFXIV items for an augmented gear of choice.
