Billy's Holiday Gift Guide for PC

Special All Christmas Movie Guest Edition

For Jack from The Nightmare Before Christmas:
Is it a Christmas movie, or a Halloween movie?  A little bit of both, really.  However, there's no denying that Jack Skellington is one scary dude.  In fact, he's the scariest guy in all of Halloween town, which is populated by witches, vampires, and even a creature that looks suspiciously like a certain Gill-man from the Black Lagoon.  There's plenty of undead around too, including Jack's girl, a reanimated corpse.  Jack isn't intimidated by all the horrors around him, so why not give him one of Billy's favorite zombie filled games:

For King Moonracer from Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
Sometimes even the oldies are goodies.  Rudolph is one of the best holiday specials, and it has been around forever.  A fun and interesting cast of characters makes it worth watching.  Yukon Cornelius and Hermey, the elf who really wants to be a dentist are a lot of fun.  Perhaps the most memorable were the characters on the Island of Misfit toys.  Their leader was King Moonracer, a winged lion.  His job was to fly across the world each night rescuing unloved toys.  Perhaps he would find the following toy based game enjoyable:

For Tough Guy John McClaine from Die Hard
I know, you're thinking, what?  Die Hard, a Christmas movie?  Indeed it is.  It's a good thing, too, otherwise, Buddy the Elf would have taken this spot, due to the awesome machine-gun style snowball skills he has.  But John McClaine is certainly a better choice.  He clearly has a strong sense of justice, is tough as nails, and is really good at killing wave after wave of bad guys.  That makes him a perfect fit for a certain recent WWII FPS.  Make sure he doesn't tell your mother "Yippi Ki Yay" by getting him this:

For Jovie, the Singing Department Store Worker from Elf
Is there any holiday movie from recent years that has a better chance to be a classic than Elf?  Will Ferrell as Buddy was the main draw, of course, but some serious comedy heavyweights like Ed Asner and Bob Newhart added much to the production.  And Zooey Deschanel as Jovie, one of Buddy's co-worker elves, was a delight.  As cute as a button and with a serious singing voice, she was the perfect love interest for innocent, fun-loving buddy.  Plus, she looks great in a red suit, so why not grab her a game featuring another red suited hottie?

And of course, here's some gear to stuff the stocking of any PC gamer.
