Of course, as always, not only retro gamers got their fix, there was also plenty of new stuff to add to the ever-growing pile. Besides the constant stream of survival horror- and escape room titles releasing in Steam Early Access, February also saw games like Wild Hearts, Theatrhythm Final Bar Line, HELLCARD, Company of Heroes 3 and Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe hitting store shelves, as well as the long-awaited PSVR2 with an assortment of titles like After the Fall, Demeo, and Tetris Effect: Connected. I've been incredibly fortunate to have a great team of folks all along the way. By my count 30 individuals have contributed to this website over that time. But there have been a steadfast few that have been with me since the beginning or very near it. Mike Katsufrakis helped developing our identity, create the artwork, web design, and UX. Locke Vincent joined us shortly after and brought video (and Canada) to the mix. Jason Love brought a passion for getting the latest news and information direct from developers. And Eric Murphy helped foster our community and grow social channels along the way.

As always, our Database Master didn't get any rest. He's always working away in the mines , having added 150 new entries - a couple of which were announced during this year's The Game Awards show. For everyone keeping score at home (why would you?), that comes out to 2,008 entries added to our database in 2022 - an average of 167 per month. Impressive if we say so ourselves, but there's no end in sight. We're still missing many older titles, and new titles are being released every month. So let us get back to work while you take a look below at what you might've missed.

Another surprising highlight this month was the release of Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration. The sparse amount of information we got about this collection before the release as well as publisher ATARI's... well, not so excellent track record in recent years didn't inspire much confidence. But by all accounts, developer Digital Eclipse outdid themselves and produced one of the best collections a retro fan could have hoped for. It also includes at least a couple of co-op titles, so that's another plus in our book.
