Calibrate your Lips in the Upcoming Update

Lips fans have been singing their heads off for the past few months now, but they may have noticed a few issues with their game.  Perhaps no matter how hard they tried they simply couldn't match the little note bar on the screen, their timing just seemed off.  And no matter how hard you and your partnered belted the I Got You Babe duet your score just never matched up to your energy.

All Lips Are Not Created Equal...

You might have noticed something a bit unusual about the songs recently released for Lips, the Xbox 360's answer to the Singstar series.  It appears that some songs are just a bit more expensive than others.  Here's an example:

Rock Band 2 Gets Fresh With Lips

See those pretty, blinged-out, wireless mics above?  They are the included peripherals for our own Bapenguin's favorite music game, Lips.  Wouldn't it be awesome to use them in Rock Band 2?  Thanks to the hard working folks over at Harmonix, it's going to happen, and soon.  Imagine being able to have all wireless instruments, and a wireless mic as well!  Perhaps we could play some Rock Band without having the cat go spastic and attacking the wires.  Just make sure your batteries are all charged.  It's great to see Harmonix's commitment to music game peripheral compatibility.  We'll let you know when the patch is released so you can pucker up and belt our your favorite tunes in spangly, sequined style!

Lips Track Listing and Co-Op Info

Music and Karaoke fans can sing with joy.  Microsoft's singing and rhythm game Lips is set for release next month for the Xbox 360.  The game will feature over 40 songs (posted after the break) as well as support downloadable tracks and even the ability to import your own DRM free music from many different portable media devices.  It should be noted that the "sing along" mode doesn't actually put the words up on the screen or anything like that, it appears to be more like singing while driving your car kinda thing.  Still cool in my book.
