It was back in September that we told you that Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad was released sans co-op, despite the official description of the game saying the feature was included.  There's no longer mention of the co-op mode on the Steam page, but we've been assured by Tripwire's Alan Wilson that a co-op mode is still being planned.

If you picked up the recent Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad on Steam or at retail, you may be having trouble finding the game's co-op mode.  We'll save yourself some time, and have you stop your search right now,  because the game is currently missing the planned co-op mode.  There's an update to the game that'll be available in the coming weeks, after the developers wrap up the "post release fix those bloody bugs" phase, which will add the campaign co-op play in.

Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad is Tripwire Interactive's follow up to their successful PC title, Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45.  In a market saturated with World War II shooters, Tripwire hopes the added features of Heroes of Stalingrad will help separate the title from the rest of the pack.  One of these features is co-op play.
