Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel is a bullet heaven roguelike from Games Farm and Grindstone. As the name implies, the game is based around Norse mythology, and it has very detailed graphics for a Vampire Survivors-style game. Jotunnslayer has just been updated with 2-player local co-op support, which is great news all on its own. Even better, though, the new "Conan" DLC adds Conan the Barbarian as a playable character.

There are plenty of Vampire Survivors-style "Bullet heaven" games in the sea, but it's hard to care about the ones that don't have co-op. If you don't at least bring the same features to the table as the game you're inspired by, what's the point? Well, Survivor Mercs from Wandering Wizard is already out in Steam Early Access, and it's coming soon to consoles as well. Having tried the single-player demo on Steam, I'm excited for it.

What's a surefire way for a Steam game to reach more Steam users? Steam Deck support! That's just the tack adopted by Cthulhu's Reach from The Fine Arc and First Break Labs. This Steam Early Access title is a horror-themed bullet heaven shooter that features 4-player online co-op. Now that it's safely playable on Steam Deck, players can battle the terrors of the deep on the go.
