BADLAND: Game of the Year Edition Lands on Switch on August 6

One of the best ways to keep a game alive in people's hearts and minds is to release it on modern platforms. One such game, BADLAND: Game of the Year Edition from Frogmind and publisher Qubic Games, is already playable on pretty much every platform out there... except one. That changes on August 6 when BADLAND finally touches down on Nintendo Switch. At last, everyone will get to experience 4-player local co-op in a colorful land gone bad.

Adorable Action RPG 'Kitaria Fables' Will Feature Fighting, Farming, and Co-op

After publishing the feline co-op action RPG Cat Quest II, it's only natural that PQUBE would want to bring more action RPGs starring heroic kitties to the world. Perhaps that's the story of how PQUBE picked up Kitaria Fables from Indonesian developer Twin Hearts. DARIUSBURST: Another Chronicle EX+ is Bursting With Co-op Shmup Action

DARIUSBURST Chronicle Saviours is a shoot 'em up that really wowed genre fans back in 2016, especially the phenomenal Steam version. Five years later, Taito and publishers United Games and ININ have just unleashed an upgraded version of the game: DARIUSBURST: Another Chronicle EX . This version adds new content on top of the copious volume of stages and modes of the original - and it fully supports 4-player local co-op in all modes.

ConnecTank Will Connect to Consoles and PC in September

Natsume, best known for its Harvest Moon and Story of Seasons series, has also started publishing indie games over the last couple of years. The latest such game is ConecTank from mysterious developer YummyYummyTummy. While the title brings to mind a combat-focused game, ConecTank is actually a co-op puzzle game about giant tank battles. It's coming to consoles and PC at the end of September, and we're excited about it.

'Have a Blast' Will Bring Co-op and PvP Blasts to Switch and Steam in August

The goal when playing video games is nearly always to have a blast. That goal is usually implied, but there's nothing wrong with making it explicit. That's exactly what Have a Blast, an upcoming arena-based party shooter, dares to do. It promises at least one blast to both Switch and Steam players when it launches on August 26.

Samurai Warriors 5 Demo Now Available on Consoles and PC

Samurai Warriors 5, the latest installment in Koei Tecmo's long-running feudal Japan-based hack and slash series, launches on July 27. Waiting can be tough, though, especially given that fans have already been waiting seven years since Samurai Warriors 4 (we won't count the iterations on 4).  To tide us over until then, Koei Tecmo has kindly released a free trial version on all major platforms. Making it even more of a must-download, progress in the demo will carry over to the full game.

Q-Yo Blaster Co-op Review

The shoot ‘em up genre has been around for almost as long as video games have existed. Warframe Finally Gaining Cross-Play, Cross-Save, and Mobile Version

Warframe, the free-to-play action/shooter RPG, has been trucking along since 2013. Gamers can download the MMO-like space ninja game on all the big platforms, including PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch. As multiplayer-focused games age, though, playerbase becomes an issue. It's hard to make war on the frames if you can't find anybody to play with. Thankfully, that will soon become less of an issue when Warframe gains cross-play and cross-save before the end of the year.
