Left 4 Dead Patched - Your Safe Room is Now Safe Again

Yea saw the patch online last night when I got on figured thats what it was for .

So will this patch take out the very feature that allowed me to save almost all (dammit Marc why'd you have to die?!) of your collective butts last week when I closed the door to the safe room and shot all the zombies through the door?

Cause that would be sad

No i think it just affects the people who were cheating (i.e. hacking the code allowing them to spawn stuff in the safe room with you, and in the level).

Why'd I have to die? Perhaps it was because Nick shot me to death! All of us shooting each other while lying on the ground was easily the single greatest moment in L4D so far! I'm smiling just thinking about it!

He probably did it because you were infected, better to die by a bullet then become one of them... I mean really who wants to come back as the boomer, yea you might get lucky and be a tank or hunter.... but really why risk being the boomer?

YAY! Does the patch fix anything else or is it merely an anti-cheat patch?

Same here! The funniest part to me was Jason surviving the Tank and coming back to revive us...meanwhile, we're capping each other so he can escape. Nick's "oops" moment was priceless.

Ahhh....memories.

My memories on that game sometimes can be epic... but after I have an epic moment a smoker always grabs me, I guess its just the way old Bill is meant to go out.
