Get Ready To 'Splode!

Can you dig it?

Artistic charm? Check.

Demolition tactics? Check.

Maniacally giggling character? Check.

Crazy Co-op 'sploding platform action? Check.

It looks to me like 'Splosion Man has it all! From Twisted Pixel, the creators of the Arcade hit "The Maw" comes 'Splosion Man, a stylized platforming arcade game that looks like it's packed chock-full of win! But, don't take my word for it, check out the trailer below!

"While there has yet to be a release date given, we did get some details on the game itself. From just the teaser you can see a bit of the "2.5D" action going on. And we now have word that the full game will come with 50 single player levels along with "interesting boss battles", but not only that, you'll also get 50 unique 4-player co-op levels to mess around with as well."

If the art in this game is this interesting, I can't wait to see what "interesting boss battles" means!

I saw this mentioned a little while back, but didn't realize it was from the same team behind The Maw. That definitely bumps up my interest in it.

I'm buying this. Even if it sucks. Concepts like sentient regenerating explosives need to be encouraged.

So I'm guessing this won't be a XNA title like Maw, but will be a normal arcade title? with achievements? Hopefully it has some variety, they didn't show too much in the trailer, sort've like cloning clyde had all the costumes.

The Maw is a full Arcade title, with Cheevos and even several small expansion packs. The third, and I think final, expansion was just released, I was thinking about picking them all up now.

thanks for the info, I don't remember why I thought that. I guess it was because when I was scrolling by it on the 360, I seen the box art and figured it was an XNA title...
