Where's My Night Vision? 50 Cent Joins Modern Warfare 2

Ladies and Gentlemen, there is no longer any excuse not to pick up the upcoming Call of Duty title, Modern Warfare 2. Even though we were a little disappointed to hear the co-op would be two players in a separate mode called Special Forces, this announcement totally makes up for it. Are you ready?
News has broken that 50 Cent, of Blood on the Sand fame, will be lending his vocal talents and possibly likeness to the aforementioned Special Forces mode. It's unclear as to whether 50 will be supplying a major character or if he'll be lost in the pack. We can only hope Infinity Ward let him write his own lines.
Possible dialogue lines:
- Soap! Hit that big ass ramp!
- Where's my night vision at?
- Hey MacTavish, did you know this architecture is Mesopotamian?
- Yo 50! Get on the AC-130 and take down those helicopters
We'll bring you more details when we have it.

"schwarzenegger" and "real action hero" do not belong in the same sentence. i've lost respect for him since he turned into the governator. CA has had problems for a while but putting that doofus in office is just making it worse.
besides, "real action heros" are war vets
Anyways, in regards to the people that think the money could've been better used for co-op, try reading what IW had to say about the subject. MW1 was a beautifully choreographed cinematic experience, much more so than World at War. At points it was blurring the lines between a movie and a game while maintaining a level of interactivity that made you feel like you were a part of it, which is something WAW never actually captured. While co-op is a blast and undeniably worthwhile, it tends to create a much different mood. When you're watching a movie it's your eyes feasting on a carefully crafted experience to give one person (the viewer) a specific "ride" of sorts, and seeing "XxHeadshotxX" or "tEaBaG_y0_m0m" pop into the scene tends to shatter that immersion. Not to mention that player-controlled characters move and act differently than NPC characters, which further breaks the illusion that the player is just another member of his squad.
Infinity Ward reminded me very strongly of Monolith when I played through MW1, and I hope that the experience they provide with MW2 does the exact same thing.
here's the thing... if you play games with the right people (people who want to be immersed as well) you don't run into that problem. i'm just as immersed into games playing with my wife as i am alone. actually, probably more so since she is playing with me and not doing something distracting in the background (playing music, playing games on the computer, cooking, cleaning). i have a much better time playing with someone than alone, even if the game is a "beautifully choreographed cinematic experience" (that's quite the mouthful). if you think that i'm just bragging about my cheesy marriage or something, think again. i've played lots of co-op with my brother as well. its much easier to come up with a strategy with a human player than AI that are programmed to do certain things and won't listen to what you have to say. i don't want my hand held through scenes, i want to come up with a plan and execute it with my comrades on the battlefield.
@txshurricane: good point... the "spent on better co-op" was more of a joke. i'd still like to know how much they're paying him vs whoever they would have had do the job. it could be a lot or it could be nothing. either way i'm not real thrilled about him.
