Activision has unveiled the next game in the Call of Duty franchise, or rather, they have unveiled when the full unveiling of it will be. The game is called Call of Duty: Ghosts and is being billed as a new subset of the franchise breaking away from the Modern Warfare and Black Ops storyline and characters. Today, the Call of Duty series is getting the discounted treatment. The military shooter juggernaut offers plenty of co-op, from the Zombie modes of the Treyarch developed Word at War, Black Ops, and Black Ops 2, to the Spec Ops modes of Infinity Ward's Modern Warfare 2 and 3.

PlayStation 3 and PC gamers can get in on some more rotting zombie action. The Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Nuketown Zombies map is now available to season pass subscribers. Nick wrote up his impressions for the new addition to the cooperative Zombies mode when it first dropped for the Xbox 360 w-a-a-a-y back in December of 2012. Nuketown Zombies is not part of the Tranzit system, it's for Survival mode, only.

Activision appear to be about as leaky as a broken sieve. Whenever new DLC is on the horizon for one of their big games information about it seems to be on the net faster than a suicidal fish. The latest information to leak of out the Activision news cyst is about Call of Duty Black Ops 2's 'Revolution' DLC pack.
It's that time of year. The Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 launch is just a few weeks away, and the celebrity-packed live action trailer is here to get you hyped. You can see it after the break. It will probably be on Monday Night Football this evening - then it won't stop being on TV until well into December. Check it out. If you can name all the celebrities treat yourself to a breakfast burrito. You've earned it.
Another year, another Call of Duty. CoD: Black Ops 2 will be out in a little under a month. Chances are you or someone you know will be picking it up. The new trailer looks like a Michael Bay movie, and that's not a bad thing for a video game. I just wish they'd go ahead and give this sucker a two to four player cooperative campaign. Why? Because I think it would be neat. But I don't want to tell Activision their business. They seem to be able to move product just fine.
The new trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2's cooperative "Zombies" mode offers very little information. There's a bus, creepy music, fire, and some zombies. It looks like the survivors will be armoring a bus, maybe in a similar fashion to 2004's Dawn of the Dead remake, (and countless other zombie flicks). Take a look and let us know what you think.
Yes, that image is from the new Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 special edition. I don't like to speculate, but it looks like the Call of Duty franchise is finally getting bare midriffs. It's about damn time. It also appears they may be taking this Zombie thing seriously. Or less seriously. Whichever makes it more awesome.
Activision is still pumping out content for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Xbox 360 owners can now purchase "MW3 Collection 3" for 1200 MSP ($15). This collection has been tailored almost exclusively for co-op play. It features a new Special Ops Chaos mode, four new Special Ops missions, and three Face Off maps for the PvP lovers out there.
