There is certain to be an abundance of "Horde Mode" style gameplay in the upcoming co-op lineup. First Halo 3: ODST's Firefight Mode, and now Rebellions Aliens Vs Predator game is getting a similar co-op mode.
"Four-player co-op will be present in a Survival mode, where you and friends play as marines facing waves of Aliens. Sounds a bit like Gears 2’s Horde mode."
Survival mode, 4 player co-op, and some amazing screens (so far) have our undivided attention. Gears of War 2 is a trendsetter, and we're happy to see more games playing along!
We can expect to see this Survival/Horde/Whatever mode with AvP's early 2010 release on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

Looks very pretty in the graphical sense, I'll be sure to keep my eye this one.
The old AvP games still make for some of the best LAN parties possible!
As far as the campaign is concerned, I know the old AvP's essentially had three actually. Three story arch's for the three species. Hopefully they keep that.
For me co-op campaign is the first thing, a horde mode should only be an added bonus. I won't be buying these single player games with co-op extras to play as co-op games - too expensive a risk on what could be an unpopular and poorly realised mode.
