There's a big discrepancy between the two promotional items for upcoming video games that we are going to show you today. Granted, one of them is quite expensive, a bit like the Halo 3 Helmet, but still, it's very cool. Feast your eyes on the Amazon.com exclusive Gears of War 2 Lancer:
Not too shabby, eh? Pictures at Amazon show someone holding it, and rest assured that this baby is full size. It's expensive, too; the Lancer costs $140. However, it comes with a "free" copy of Gears 2, as well, which by my figuring makes it cost $80. If you're into this sort of thing, that isn't an outrageous price for such a nicely detailed and flat out large item.
On the other end of the spectrum? Microsoft's promotion for preordering Too Human:

Nothing screams "I'm an outer space Norse God" like a cheap watch that looks like something Ferris Bueller would have worn. I THINK that's a tiny Too Human logo there on the band just below the face of the watch. This is pretty much the opposite of the Lancer, don't you think? (I love articles like this; they really just write themselves!)
Actually, it could be a useful bedtime negotiation tool...
That watch, on the other hand, looks awful. I mean, seriously... I think I had one of those back in 1983.
