Bionic Commando Rearmed sees a return of the intense 2D side scrolling, shooting and grappling action from the much-loved 1988 Bionic Commando on the original 8-bit Nintendo Entertainment System™. Bionic Commando Rearmed brings the amazing gameplay up to date with stunning new visuals, new weapons, online rankings, a reworked musical score and the addition of a 2-player co-op mode. The title will also provide cross-game interoperability, as completing parts of Bionic Commando Rearmed will unlock new content and provide secret insight into characters and plot of the brand new Bionic Commando sequel coming later in 2008. played for a while on medium but yeah easy was a lot funner in the end I got my moneys worth and I dont care if there is anymore levels under other difficulties I had a blast on easy but some things on medium like the furnace level made me wanna put the game down. This game reminds me of world of goo where the difficulty is worse if you don't work as a team in co-op than in single player.

worth the 10 bucks

Fun game picked it up for 800 point on XBL and it's worth it. I had problems you were describing with one of my controllers but I swapped it out with a newer one since I have seen in other games that the analog would slightly drift. After that got worked out I have played ten or so missions on medium and its been a blast. I am seeing the same bosses already but the levels are different still and they mix it up well.

Learning curve for this game is moderately steep, but it's very rewarding once you become accustomed to the controls. Forget using the d-pad, as it's much to touchy for this game.

Strictly speaking of co-op, this was a lot of fun. I think it would have been more fun if my friend had gotten past that learning curve, but we still made it through the game, even backtracking to upgrade our weapons.

Note - You won't see everything this game has to offer if you play it on it's easiest difficulty setting.

played for a few hours, it was awesome.. controls felt fine, physics were fairly true to the original- just as much fun to play, with a few updates.

What bapenguin said is what I thought at first. I wished it was the same as Nintendo controller, the more I played though I started to think that it was not that the controls were less responsive, it was rather that I was used to a 3 dimensional use of the analog, and not a 2d platform. After a while i stared swinging around like a monkey in a tree. The extra content is great, the machine gun revamp, the shotgun visual and the bazooka power (pro and con cuz you can kill yourself) cant be beat in this remake. Highly recommend, worth me writing this, worth my stack of pennies, and definitely worth your while to roll back some nostalgia.

I really thought I would enjoy this remake but I simply can not get past the controls. Both the analog and d-pad are simply not responsive and accurate enough to know which direction to throw your bionic arm. Sure Co-Op is still fun, but there are plenty of other games out there I find more enjoyable.

You would think they would patch the USB port stuff.. Its just silly to have to unplug stuff that you usually just leave plugged
Yeah but I think it would still be cool!
Thanks for clearing that up! I probably won't buy it though.
