The Co-Op Experience
Up to 12 players can all play together on one island in Animal Crossing: New Horizons via online co-op, or 4 players can play together simultaneously on a single system via couch co-op. While playing together, one player acts as the host. The camera follows the host as they move around the island and into shops/other areas (players follow the host into these areas, too). The host can be changed to another player during a session. All players work together to gather materials and build a new community on the island.
