This is why we’re so excited for How to Survive. This title, coming to PC, XBLA, PSN, and Wii U, brings a hoard of new features and gameplay mechanics that turns the game into more than a mindless shooter – you really are playing to survive.

E3 2013 - How to Survive Hands-On Impressions

How to Survive is an interesting little downloadable game. A true survival horror title, players will not only battle the zombie scourge, they'll also have to contend with  hunger, thirst, and sleep deprivation. Players will find themselves stranded on an island with little more than the restless dead and the remnants of a survival book for company.  Luckily the game supports two player local or online co-op, so you can share in the apocalyptic misery with a friend.

Learn How to Survive This Fall

The zombie game genre has been dead  since, well,  it's inception. That's kind of it's thing. But people have been complaining about stale zombie games for years. If it's one thing people like to do, it's complain. Normally I'm right there with them. But, every time I think I'm done with the shambling masses I find another reason to grab some ammo, gas up a chainsaw, or duct tape a flashlight to a crowbar. It really depends on how well the game is done, but I don't think I'll ever get sick of playing through a zombie games.
