Tiny Brains is a magnificent mouse based 4 player co-op puzzler on PS3, PS4 and PC that Co-Optimus gave the full 5 out of 5 wheel of cheese. If that was not enough to make your whiskers twitch, the fact that the game is now permanently down to $9.99 on all platforms and has just received free content may be.
Spearhead Games have taken on gamer feedback when designing the new content for Tiny Brains so with the latest update you will get a few tweaks, but also plenty of new gameplay for zilch. The biggest beneficiary in the game is the Road to Stardom mode that now has 10 new puzzles and a new progression system.
The update also allows trial players to play online through chapter 1 and even join in with players who own the full title. This is a great way of experiencing the 4 player combo co-op before purchasing. Co-Optimus is pretty sure that if you try the game, you will be hooked.
Details of what the update contains are yonder:
10 new time-based and puzzle challenges in the "Road to Stardom" game mode, including the Infernal Carousel, Battle of Sphereburg, and Matrix Ball A rebranded version of existing content in "Escape the Mad Lab” and a new star-based progression and scoring system in the revamped “Road to Stardom” Souped-up superpower for the Minsc the hamster -- Now, he can freeze objects with his ice blocks! Updated user interface that allows players to better navigate throughout modes and challenges New online functionality for the demo, so trial players can host online games through Chapter 1 and join campaign games hosted by players with the full version
