Final Crimson Alliance Character Video: Moonblade the Assassin

As Crimson Alliance's release next week nears, the last character class video is now available for your viewing enjoyment.  The final heroine is an assassin, with all sorts of crazy moves, sneaky attacks, and poisoned blades, as you'd expect.  The game looks gorgeous, as you can see.  You might recall our hands on preview, in which Crimson Alliance was very impressive.  Starting September 7, you can team up with three more friends, either local, online, or a mix.  We are all but drooling in anticipation!

New Video For Crimson Alliance Features a Wizard called Direwolf

The latest trailer for Crimson Alliance features an old grizzled wizard named "Direwolf."  That's pretty cool, as far as nicknames go.  He's got all the icy, fiery, lightning-y things you'd expect in a wizard, including a huge chip on his shoulder.  Crimson Alliance is an upcoming action RPG where you can join three friends either locally or online for some good old fashioned dungeon crawling excitement.  I got some hands-on time with the game at E3, and I liked what I saw.  It will set you back 1200 MSP, or you can pick it up for free if you purchased all of the XBLA Summer of Arcade titles.

New Video and Screens for Crimson Alliance

You may have seen Crimson Alliance lurking on your Xbox LIVE dashboard.  It's the free bonus game you'll receive if you buy all of the Summer of Arcade titles.  This may lead you to believe that the game is a tacked-on after thought, but you couldn't be more wrong.  I got a chance to play Crimson Alliance at E3, and it plays as well as (or better than) any other downloadable dungeon crawler that's crossed the digital landscape of late.  You can read my hands-on preview here.

New Co-Op Shots for Upcoming Crimson Alliance

Crimson Alliance is coming to the XBLA later this year.  Today we have six new screens showing some of the in-game action.  Grab three friends and put an end to the evil Cult of the Soul Siren.  Four players can team up locally or online.  I got a chance to play Crimson Alliance at E3.  It was a brightly colored, fast paced, arcade-style of dungeon crawler.  The inventories were streamlined and easily managed.  You may remember that this game is being offered as a free bonus to anyone who buys all of the XBLA Summer of Arcade titles.

Crimson Alliance Hands-On at E3 2011

Today, I attended my first honest to goodness E3 hands-on appointment.  The lucky winner was developer Certain Affinity, makers of Crimson Alliance, yet another hack and slash action RPG.  What separates Crimson Alliance from the glut of recently released dungeon crawlers?  How about fast-paced action, a streamlined inventory, and most importantly, co-op done right.  You can play Crimson Alliance with four players online, four players locally, or any combination you wish.  And best of all, your character save data stays with your Xbox Live Gamertag.
