The Force Is Plastic, With This One.

Check Out The Snappy Latest LEGO Star Wars Trailer

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has yet to receive a release date, but the newest trailer (below) does an impeccable job of showcasing the warm, family-friendly fun that comes with LEGO; both the games and the plastic toys themselves. Although the trailer is light on gameplay, the finished product will likely be full of memorable moments to be had as it will encompass the main nine Star Wars films in digital plastic form across PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 when it comes out later in 2020.

Updates, Patches And Presents!

ICYMI: Gears 5 Received New Content and Last Day for “Gearsmas” Goodies

Gears 5 kicked off its second “Operation” (i.e., season) last month, called “Operation: Free For All.” The Title Update 3 brought a slew of bug fixes, maps, and the new Free For All PvP mode to the game, but that’s not all we got for December. Much like in real life, Christmas came upon us and the COGs faster than we had anticipated and with it came some holiday-themed content for Gears 5 in the form of the annual Gearsmas event.

Just some new outfits for the ScareScraper co-op mode

Multiplayer Pack Will Arrive Next Year for Luigi's Mansion 3

Not too long ago, keen observers noticed an interesting bullet point on the official Luigi's Mansion 3 website just prior to its release. Specifically, that "paid DLC will come to Luigi's Mansion 3 in the future, adding new content to the ScareScraper and ScreamPark multiplayer modes." However, no other information was offered. Earlier this week, Nintendo finally revealed what that content will entail, and how much it will cost.

Darksiders: Genesis Stream Recap and Impressions

The Darksiders franchise got a new entry last week on the PC (console version is coming February 2020) with Darksiders: Genesis, an isometric, twin-stick shooter-ish, action/adventure game. While the gameplay has changed a bit from the previous third-person action titles, there's a lot that's familiar and the new format works. Best of all, you can play with a buddy online or on the couch!

Games And Remakes On The Horizon

Rebellion Purchases The Bitmap Brothers’ Portfolio

Rebellion, the studio behind Strange Brigade and the Sniper Elite series, has acquired the game portfolio of The Bitmap Brothers, a British game development studio with titles dating back to the 90’s, like The Chaos Engine, Speedball 2: Brutal Deluxe, and Gods. Invite A Friend to Play Man of Medan With You For Free

Back in August, Supermassive Games and Bandai Namco released the first entry in their interactive survival/horror Dark Pictures Anthology series, Man of Medan. The title allows you and some friends (either locally or online) to assume the role of different characters as they set out on a three-hour tour, only for things to go very wrong. Now, for a limited time, if you've bought the game (or plan on buying it), but don't have any local friends with whom you can play it, you can use a free "Friend's Pass" to invite a friend to join you for a complete playthrough online.
