What would a world without gas stations even look like? Dead cars as far as the eye can see, dogs and cats living together... It would be complete anarchy! Well, The Last Gas Station from Alawar dares to imagine just such a brave new world. That world just got a little less lonely because the game has been updated with 2-player online co-op. The station is open right now on Steam.

It has been, I assume, six years since Bus Simulator 21 brought online co-op bus driving to the world. A lot has happened since then: tariffs, The Muppet Show special, and a third Tron movie, just to name a few things. Well, bus driving games are finally about to catch up, thanks in no small part to Bus Simulator 27 from Simteract and Astragon Entertainment. The upcoming bustravaganza promises more licensed buses than ever, playable coach buses for intercity travel, and 4-player online co-op.

Developer Q-Games has done a lot of really great things with the PixelJunk series. Representing every genre from shooter to tower defense to simulation, each release has hit the fun spot right in the core, with plenty of lovely artwork and some great co-op experiences to boot. With Pixel Junk Inc., those convenient genre labels are thrown out the door. Instead, we get a healthy combination of PixelJunk Shooter, Terraria, PixelJunk Monsters, and, of all things, a soup-selling simulation!
