NeoGAF is reporting that Belgian PC mag PCGameplay has revelead that Dawn of War 2 is being developed. The magazine reported many details of the upcoming sequel to the acclaimed PC RTS, Dawn of War (also known as Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War, normally shortened to just Dawn of War). So, why should co-op gamers be so excited? Well, it seems Dawn of War 2 is pulling a page out of Red Alert 3's book and supporting co-op campaign. As NeoGAF reported:
- Co-op campaign for both the Orkz and Space Marines, apparently not for the other to-be-revealed races.
NeoGAF has plenty of other details about the game, including its likely release date, 2009, and other deails about its similarities and differences with the original Dawn of War. I'm hoping this trend of co-op RTS games (particularly from good franchises like Dawn of War and Red Alert) continues. How about you?
