New Ghost Recon Title Coming Before March 2010

Two weeks ago, a rumor was on the loose -- a rumor that claimed that Ubisoft was cooking up new Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six titles to be release sometime in 2009.

Now, it seems that at least half of the rumor was fairly accurate: Joystiq reports that among the myriad of planned sequels and new titles listed in Ubisoft's latest earnings statement, a fresh Ghost Recon title will see the light of day before the end of the next fiscal year (March 2010).

The original rumor is supposedly fed by a person on the inside, who advises that a new Rainbow Six is being developed as well, and that both co-op Tom Clancy titles will be revealed "soon" and released in 2009.

Did I read co-op?

I always thought how cool GRAW 1 woul be with co-op campaign. I never finished that campaign alone, but I know it was an awesome one!

Graw 2 offers campaign co-op?

GRAW2 was NOT campaign co-op. They have a ton of maps and co-op options though, which made it the very first game to have a meet-up posted here on this site. We rocked it every Friday night for months.

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 had co-op for the campaign and for Terrorist Hunts. GRAW 2 just had co-op missions, I believe, and a survival mode (still haven't played it that much).

I'm giving Ubi the benefit of the doubt here, seeing how they're adding co-op into HAWX, and seeing how popular their past co-op shooters were/are.

Thanks for the info, guys.

I'd rather have co-op campaign, than co-op missions. The missions are cool, but campaign is always more entertaining.

Me too rafoca, though GRAW2 had a lot of content with a lot of players we ran some of the co-op missions with a dozen players!! That's the most I've ever had, and it was a blast! Coordinating classes with your teammates (automatic rifleman, rifleman, grenadier, or sniper) and working together to do the objectives was WAY more fun for me personally than the regular missions. If Ubisoft can recapture any of this it should be a good thing.

I never talk when I play online on COD. No one really says anything worth listening to, or no one talks whatsoever.
