Remember when we told you about the awesome new Left 4 Dead DLC that's coming, and you said you'd pay like million dollars for it. I think I heard you say - "I'd totally have Gabe Newell's baby for that DLC." Well get ready to be a proud parent, because Valve has announced that the Survival Pack DLC will be out this spring and it will be....FREE!
Due for release this spring, the DLC for 2008's best-selling new game property on the PC and Xbox 360, is dubbed the L4D Survival Pack and introduces a new multiplayer game mode entitled, Survival, plus two complete campaigns for Versus Mode (Death Toll, Dead Air). A Critic's Choice Edition of the game will be heading to retail stores this spring, and will include access to all the content introduced in the L4D: Survival Pack.
That's right, both Xbox 360 and PC owners are getting this content free. Your MS Points are safe...for now! MUWAHAHHAHAHAAHAHA

That depends. So far, it looks like the content is just new coding...no new actually in-game art assets, music, etc. So the DLC may be an automatic update, similar to when Rainbow Six Vegas 2 was updated...
Given that, it pretty much confirms that there aren't new maps with this update which is TOTALLY forgivable for being free. Save those precious space bucks!
I'd be happy to pay for new campaigns, but not for what they offered in the DLC this time round. Yay.
