Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you a new era of hype.  What we have here is a trailer of a trailer for an upcoming game.  It's sort of like an announcement of an announcement, but with a little more meat.  The trailer of the trailer of Modern Warfare 2 was shown during the NBA Playoffs on TNT, announcing a full trailer coming at a later date.

What does this trailer trailer provide?  What we have here is about 7 seconds of actual gameplay footage from the latest Call of Duty title.  Explosions?  Check.  Missiles?  Check.  Military Aircraft?  Check.  Announcement of the actual trailer?  Check.

We'll all be waiting till May 24th when we get the full trailer - hopefully it won't be announcing some other media we'll have to be on the lookout for.

Of course it's still unknown as to whether or not Modern Warefare 2 will actually have cooperative gameplay, but we're gonna go out on a limb and say it will.  Why?  Well we'll announce that on July 17th.
