Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, Tactical Espionage Co-op?

Katrina "ShadokatRegn" Pawlowski June 2nd, 2009 at 8:11 PM

Metal Gear Solid made several appearances at E3, including a whole new game for the Xbox360, and a PSP "sequel" to Metal Gear Solid 3. Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is set 10 years after the events of Metal Gear Solid 3, covering the conflict that lead to creation of the original Metal Gear's "Outer Heaven."

Now, why would we be covering a Metal Gear game on our website, when the series has been a primarily single player experience? Well, the trailer unveiled at E3 suggests up to 4 player co-op with multiple "Snakes" in different garb on screen, and the tag screen that says:

"Solitary Infilitration?"

"Tactical Coordination?"

Which just screams co-op to us.

What better way to warm up that new PSPGo, than to co-op with this exclusive chapter of the Metal Gear saga? That is, assuming the 4-at-once Solid/Naked Snakes in the video aren't a cruel tease, giving up this poor websites hopes.

Watch as Hideo Kojima himself introduces Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker at E3, and tell us what you think.

Looks great. Wish I had a PSP, and friends with PSPs.

I never talk when I play online on COD. No one really says anything worth listening to, or no one talks whatsoever.
