Turtles In Time: Reshelled July Release For Xbox360

Katrina "ShadokatRegn" Pawlowski June 11th, 2009 at 2:42 PM

July 22nd will mark a momentous occasion, one where many of our childhood memories can be relived in a new shell! Turtles in Time: Reshelled will be released on the Xbox 360, with both online and offline 4-player co-op! Ubisoft promised a remake of the original Turtles in Time, as well as "extras" to keep things fresh.

Speaking of extras, IGN got a hands on demonstration which included a mode called "survival mode", which suggests relentless hordes of enemies to keep us busy! We look forward to other surprises yet to be revealed in this highly anticipated remake.

Unfortunately, the Playstation Network users will have to wait until an unannounced "later this year" date, we'll be sure to keep you posted.

Thanks to Tino for the tip!

survival mode in an arcade game? i think that might be going a little too far.

the screenshots look pretty nice. i might pick this up if its cheap.

Definitely a day 1 purchase regardless of price.

Unless Ubisioft reads this. In which case no more than $10!

"A. You can never go too far" ~ Ferris Bueller

B. Survival mode fits the play-style well.

C. Even if it's $30 it would be cheaper than finding an original that works. (Unless you have a functioning SNES)

Man, seeing that first screen shot of the board slapping Leo TOTALLY reminds me of playing this in four-player glory back in the day. I tracked down a Super MultiTap just for this game.

Its sad that I'll be waiting a little longer for it to hit PSN. Still, its gonna be a must-buy when it finally comes out.

I'll take any mode that will add to the Turtles in Time experience! A survival mode would make sense for a brawler. A day one purchase for sure! But as stated before Ubisoft my wallet is bleeding please show mercy!

I'm torn. Do I get it as soon as possible and deal with the crap d-pad, or do I wait for the PSN release?

Oh wow, so the PS3 is getting this? I guess there's no more Wii version, huh?
