Yes it was. I think it ended up giving it a bad rap.

A GameSpot reviewer was fired over it. Of course, GameSpot blamed it on something else and it was simply a coincidence. Bull.

Although i know other companies are doing the same thing, just look at the ever increasing increase of scores over the years, there is no way I am trusting any info given out about this game.

Twas a shame, as overall I found it to be quite a good game. I particularly liked the club mission!!

The first one could have been so much better.

I hope they expand the multiplayer mode where it is players vs bots on the cop team, and when a player dies he comes back as a cop.

Fragile alliance was good but man you would get killed right at the start of the game.

I'd like to pick the first one up on the cheap, so despite its controversy-tarnished reputation, I'd like to see first-hand if it's an enjoyable shooter.

i've been thinking about the same thing lately although my plate is so full at the moment. we usually run out of games in summer so maybe i'll pick it up then.

Very cool trailer. I am still waiting for confirmation of split-screen in this game though.
