Today, EA released a brand new video of Klei Entertainment's Shank 2 muliplayer survival mode, explaining some of the main features it will bring for the upcoming sequel.

You and another player must hold off an onslaught of enemies looking to destroy your supply depots, which allow you to summon forth reinforcements to keep on truckin’ through the wave levels. What’s more is the ability to use the enemy’s weapons against them (which is a new aspect previously unseen in the first game) or environment booby traps to help you in any tight spot. As with any survival mode, team work and communication is key, especially if you want to make the online leaderboards.

Stated for a February 7th release for the PlayStation 3 and PC and a February 8th release on Xbox LIVE, Shank 2 is looking to be better than ever. With updated in-game mechanics and a previously unseen list of weaponry, we hope to see it be a worthy successor to the original Shank.
