The Gears of War franchise is a little bit like the Wii: it just keeps printing money. Not only is it one of the best co-op series on any platform, but it is selling like snowcones in a heatwave. It just makes sense that Epic will be working on a new Gears game, if they aren't already, right?
According to the latest issue of EGM, Gears 3 will be out Holiday 2010, and will feature 5 player co-op. What does Epic's Mark Rein have to say about this report? "Total nonsense." Sure, Mr. Rein. You're not working on it, and we'll be totally uninterested in another sequel after we've played Gears 2 for two years. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge. Even a first grader could fill in the blanks...
