Halo Waypoint Co-Op Night: Firefight High Score Night

A nice idea, but why are these always american?

Because they're stupid Americans who don't realise there's a world beyond the country of Amurca. Or maybe it's because Co-Optimus is run by Americans.

Well, the "official" events are run by the staff members of the site and Microsoft, who are all based in America.

As far as contests and such, there are laws in this country concerning where we can send prizes, which is lame as hell.

I can work up export documents pretty easily, if we're willing to foot the $12+ bill to send prizes.
Of course, it may be more than just export laws prohibiting prize items from being sent.

Is it the team score or Individual scores? If It's the team score does everyone of that team receive the prize, Or just one person on the team?

unfortunately we don't have enough prizes for the whole team. So it'll be whoever submits the score. The person that wins will just have to buy the rest of the team some beers or something.

Maybe what I'll do is if multiple people from a team submit a score, the person with the highest individual total will get the prize.

Okay, so each person needs to submit a Team Score and then their individual score?

Yeah, I had a feeling you're going to win or at least be a top contender for best score.

I actually beat my score for that Endure match.

Team: 350,449 -- My Score: 144,525

But best Team score goes to the Endure match at Total - 798,668, MyScore--110,945.

Great fun, glad I got to join in.

Congratulations to everyone who got Endure. I'd like to shoot for that one sometime. Anyway: BAPenguin, OrigamiPanther, Pherbear, and I totalled 1,679,642 on Lost Platoon (Normal). Pher and I both got "Be Like Marty" that game.

God, that match took us over 3 hours. My score blew, because I was busy driving the shit out of the Warthog so my gunners could kill stuff. (something like 90% of my points were off vehicle kills, hah)

Haha yea, Can't Let the teamates down!!, Endure was fun I'd defiantly be willing to do that again. I still need to get "Be Like Marty"

Don't get too impressed with my score. By the end, when we had every skull active, I was getting almost 13,000 points for every tank I lasered. The game credits you with three kills when you take out a tank-- the driver, the gunner, and the tank itself-- so you get the triple-kill bonus, and there's another score multiplier for using the laser. The points practically score themselves.

Yeah, Evil, LP by far the easiest Firefight map. I'm surprised you guys didn't do that one for your Endure run. You should get two achievements for making it that far on Alpha Site. Congratulations again.

i had a team carry me to endure and then i had to go ... my wife wanted to play but wasn't ready when we started so i thought i'd get a quick match in. wife wasn't too happy that it lasted 2+ hours... oops. anyway, our final team score was 1,324,641. i'm not sure if the other guys are even registered here, i should have asked.

Bakken Hood, I actually find Alpha Site the easiest map for endure. The Enemies only come at you from 2 hallways and no need to deal with tanks or Choppers. I do find Lost Platoon easiest for getting points though, Those wraiths are awesome. Love being the driver in the warthog though somehow entertains me greatly.

My condolences to your wife, and my congratulations on that score. Sounds like you'd have taken it if you could have stayed around.
