Xbox Live Co-Op Night (July 4th Edition) - Gears of War
Thursday - July 3rd, 2008

This week we are going to have special co-op night with the help of the folks at Microsoft. They are launching the Live, Liberty and Pursuit of Gamerscore promotion to celebrate the 4th of July in the United States. And what better way to celebrate than to take out some Locust scum with your buddy in Gears of War!
Gears of War is still one of the top rated Co-Op games on this site. Why? With drop in and drop out support, as well as a tight integration of the co-op experience into the story, Gears of War exemplifies what we look for in our co-op games.
The game supports two players via Split Screen, LAN, or Xbox Live. One player controls the main character of Marcus Fenix while the other player assumes the role of Dominic Santiago. To survive the onslaught of the locust horde you'll need to work together by providing cover, communicating, and just generally watching each other's backs.
Launching this week is the Gears of War 2-Disc edition which features an exclusive look at the upcoming sequel to the game. So grab your controller, grab a buddy and hop on Xbox Live on July 3rd for some Gears of War Co-Op!
Above, it's supposed to say (25 or older)... preferrably. If you think you're mature but younger than that, feel free to send a friend request.
See u mofo's online!! hit me up...
I'm a bit late to the party, I only picked up GoW today! After trying it out a little bit, I can see that I'd probably be worthless in co-op at this point. For the other person, it'd probably be more like a single player experience with me probably out of commission most of the time! Oh well, maybe I won't be as useless in the game by the time November rolls around...
I had fun playing last night.
