Happy New Year!

...and that's a wrap on 2021. It was a bit rough around the edges but I'm sure we'll be able to fix that in post-production. So thanks everyone for the good work and we see you in 2022! Sorry? We've missed something? Surely you must be mistaken, Sir! The Monthly Round-Up for December? Mmmh... didn't we do that one back in January? No? Damn. Well, I guess we celebrated prematurely and need to put in some overtime. Unpack everything and back on position. Ready? Lights! Camera! Action!

Our first instinct was to begin this paragraph with "As always December gave us a bit of breathing room" but then we looked at the release list and noticed that 57 titles hit store shelves this month. So no - December hit us almost as hard as every other month of 2021. And there were quite a few big ones in there, too: ANVIL: Vault Breakers, Asterix & Obelix: Slap Them All!, After the Fall, Grim Dawn (for Xbox), Serious Sam 4 (for Xbox Series S|X and PlayStation 5), Thunder Tier One, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance (for PC) and many more you can see below.

Meanwhile, our Database Manager, as always doing *insert appropriate deity*-work, added another 150 titles to our ever-growing collection. He wasn't quite able to hit the magical number of 10,000 total entries, but we'll let it slide and celebrate in January. It's the holidays, after all... a time for love, forgiveness, and all that good stuff.
