If exclusive co-op games really grind your gears then news that previous Wii exclusive The Grinder is also coming to 360, PS3 and PC will help lubricate your machinery. In an interview with IGN, various members of High Voltage Software, the team behind the game, went into details about the future of the title.
Not only did they reveal that the game is now non-exclusive, but they also had some information about the co-op elements of the game:
IGN: Sounds good. How is the cooperative mode coming along?
Kerry: Very nicely and our improvements are abundant.
Eric: We have special combination attacks and physics puzzles that really enhance the multiplayer experience overall.
This is information coming from the creators of The Conduit, a Wii exclusive First Person Shooter that was less than brilliant (shall we say). Hopefully, they have learned from this game and will create something that can compete with Left 4 Dead 2 in terms of 4 player co-op.
With a Halloween 2011 release date they have plenty of time to make sure the game works well across all formats. For more information check out the link.
