Doublesix, makers of Playstation Network twin-stick shooter Burn Zombie Burn, has announced a semi-sequel is on the way: All Zombies Must Die! Even better, the game is coming to XBLA this time too.
All Zombies Must Die! is a cartoonish overhead-view shooter that takes place in the town of Deadhill. With a name like that, it was only a matter of time before something evil happened. Up to four players can team up to take care of the town’s zombie problem. Multiplayer is local-only, unfortunately.
On the bright side, All Zombies Must Die! brings more depth than its predecessor, with character leveling, weapons crafting, and sidequests keeping things interesting. I passed on the first game, but this one looks like a lot more fun, especially with co-op partners.
All Zombies Must Die! launches on PSN and Steam this fall. The Xbox Live Arcade version is due sometime afterward.
