Will Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Have Endless Possibilities With its Multiplayer Mode?

Gamers are already licking their lips with excitement for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which is set for a 2023 release. The title from Rocksteady Studios takes place in the world it built in its Arkham series but focuses on some of DC Comics’ antiheroes rather than the Caped Crusader.

It has already been reported that there will be a multiplayer cooperative mode in the game. There is also potential for future expansions where countless other well-known DC villains could be included.

Game From Rocksteady Studios Will Feature Some Legendary Characters

The Joker and the Penguin may be two of the best-known Batman villains, but Harley Quinn is quickly gaining notoriety in mainstream culture. This is thanks to Margot Robbie’s portrayal of the deranged psychiatrist in numerous DC Films. Viewers now know what to expect when they see Quinn and, according to an infographic about Batman characters, her baseball bat is a staple inclusion. The female antagonist will help sell the new Suicide Squad game, as players will want to experience her acrobatic skills in game form.

Aside from Quinn, the other main characters in the upcoming comic book adventure are King Shark, Captain Boomerang, and Deadshot. Their aim is to stop an alien invasion led by Brainiac. The supervillain has brainwashed the members of the Justice League, which is why the game’s characters need to attempt to take these superheroes down.

Reported Multiplayer Mode with Four Main Protagonists

Gamers will be able to play a single-player mode in which they can switch between the four different characters at any time. They each have different skills and attributes, so it will require some clever changing to complete missions successfully. In this mode, AI controls the other three characters at any time.

There will also be a four-player co-operative mode that allows each player to choose one of the main characters. This could be offered as a way to tackle the storyline as a team. It may also be a special feature in a different aspect of the game away from the main plot.

Serious Potential to Include More Characters

Rocksteady Studios hasn’t released any information about whether there will be an online option for the game yet. However, with the rise of this form of gaming over the last few years, it would make sense for this to be incorporated.

If the title goes online, players will need to be provided with a much greater choice at the character selection stage. Otherwise, the sandpit will be packed full of people controlling the same avatars. Luckily, there are so many well-known creations in the world of DC Comics that could make an appearance. These include the likes of Killer Croc, Clayface, and Poison Ivy.

There is certainly amazing potential for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Not only does the story mode promise to be thrilling, but it could also have a massive multiplayer option. If the latter comes to fruition, the developers will need to offer many more characters for players to choose from.
