Pantless from Pebbles Games is one of those games. It's a 3D platformer in which pants-free players try to jump and climb as high as they can in an insane world. Among the more pleasant reveals of the Xbox Games Showcase this year was that Age of Mythology: Retold from World's Edge would be coming to Xbox in addition to PC. The real-time strategy genre tends to be a little dry, but the Age of Mythology series overcomes that limitation by featuring awesome mythological gods and creatures. Console and PC gamers will get to experience that magical strategy mixture when it arrives on September 4.
A new Gears of War game was heavily rumored to be revealed at this year's Xbox Games Showcase, and that's just what we got. Gears of War: E-Day is a prequel that allows players to take control of Marcus Fenix, the original Gears series protagonist, as he endures the series' famous Emergence Day event. We don't have any gameplay details yet, but E-Day is likely to feature campaign co-op and a cooperative Horde mode.
