Plant Vs Zombies Coming to PlayStation 3

Attention PlayStation 3 owners!  PopCap Games' Plants Vs. Zombies will be coming to the PlayStation Store. Originating on the PC, Plants Vs. Zombies is an incredibly popular tower defense game that made the transition to the Xbox 360.  Along with this transition came co-op support, allowing two players to team up locally in order to battle the undead horde.  Players are tasked with using a variety of specialized plants to stop wave after wave of zombies.  We gave the game a 4 out of 5 in our co-op review

Xbox LIVE Deal of the Week - Plants vs Zombies

The very fine tower defense game, Plants vs Zombies, is on sale as Xbox LIVE's deal of the week.  Defend your yard from the encroaching zombie hordes with plants like the Peashooter, the Cherry Bomb, and the Doom-Shroom.  Normally 1200 MSP ($15), Plants vs Zombies can be purchased for 800 MSP ($10) from now until January 24th.  We really like this game, and gave it a 4 out of 5 in our Co-Op review.  You and a friend can team up locally in Adventure Co-Op Mode or the refined Co-Op Mode.  If you have been on the fence about this one, what are you waiting for?  This might be the closest some of you get to actually having your own lawn. True, it's infested with zombies, but at least you don't have to mow it.

Plants Vs. Zombies Co-Op Review

Plants Vs. Zombies is one of those rare titles that has casual appeal while still providing an enjoyable experience to the hardcore gamer. Recently, Pop Cap's cheerful undead defense game made it's way to the Xbox 360, with an Xbox Live Arcade release and a disc version, too.

Plants Vs. Zombies Coming September 8, Co-Op Details Revealed

Plants Vs. Zombies was a casual game smash last year, and saw releases on PC and iDevices.  As a tower defense fan, I picked the game up off Steam and really had a good time with it.  A simplified tower defense formula coupled with a whole bucketload of humor and charming graphics made for a great combination.  Next month, Xbox 360 gamers will be able to enjoy Plants Vs. Zombies for the first time, and best of all, there's a brand new co-op mode!  Two players will be able to select their own seeds to plant, and by working together, they can defend one lawn from the undead invaders, all at the same time. Player 2 can drop in and out of the adventure mode at any time.  The zombie killin' action begins on September 8, for $15.
