Well, I never...

Our Weekend In Gaming: J'accuse!

The Co-Opticrew has fought back!  My recent admonishment of their predictability did not go unnoticed, and y'all... I am paying for it.  Never mind the French jabs or the annoying weekend plans, it's the little things I can't get over.  It's the staring, the water cooler whispering, the "accidental" tossing of my packed lunches into the trash.  I can't take it anymore!  Play as many space-looters as you want, you dang philistines.  Just leave me out of it.

But we had Destiny 2 last Friday!

Our Weekend In Gaming: Same Old, Same Old

Well, well, well, if it isn't the ol' Co-Opticrew up to their usual weekend antics.  You try to trust them, right?  You try to give them some space and assume they won't all hop back into their comfort games, and just look what happens.  I, for one, feel like a danged fool, but I'll let it slide this one time.  I've placed the culprits on notice, though, and if this happens for a second consecutive weekend, they can be prepared for some very strongly worded letters.

Kaliber HVER PRO RGB Keyboard Review

Each piece of gaming hardware can greatly alter the experience of the game being played. A faulty headset and the whole team feels the impact when you fail to communicate danger in time; a lackluster mouse and your interaction with the world through selection or direction can become more of a hurdle than it should be; and with a subpar keyboard the entire experience can be slammed to a halt, no matter the game. Thankfully, Kaliber’s HVER PRO RGB Keyboard does a great job whether it’s under the pressure that comes from the heat of a game or writing this very review.

Pokemon Go Ride a Haunter.

Our Weekend In Gaming: Pocket-Based Monsters

The Co-Opticrew is getting into the weeds this weekend with one goal in mind: filling our Pokedexes and making our rivals look like straight-up fools.  Given our otherworldly ability to name our rivals literally anything we want, I doubt the first task will take too long.  The Pokedex, on the other hand, may take some doin', but if it gives us a chance to spend hours floating around on the head of an actual ghost, I'm all for it.

So much to choose from.

Our Weekend In Gaming: Bountiful Pleasures

The Co-Opticrew is reaping the rewards of an E3 news cycle that was both hot and heavy.  For the most part, the intense period is over, so we'll now be taking a weekend to relax, recuperate, and play some titles released during the conference.  If you want the latest on co-op news coming out of this year's E3, be sure to check for the [E3 2019] tag.

A look back over the past 9 years and ~100 issues

MMO Co-Opportunities Volume C: Special Edition Celebrating the 100th Issue

Nine years ago, in the summer of 2010, I began this MMO Co-Opportunities column. As a fan of MMOs, I saw value in highlighting the co-op opportunities (or “co-opportunities”) within individual games. For the first year, I was able to cover one MMO a month, focusing on the unique opportunities I (or my fellow writers) saw within each gam...

Signature HyperX comfort. Wireless. For gamers on a tighter budget.

HyperX Cloud Stinger Wireless Review

Like the Cloud Stinger before it, the Cloud Stinger Wireless attempts to bring the best audio experience possible for gamers on a tighter budget. For just shy of $100, the Cloud Stinger Wireless is certainly the least expensive wireless headset in HyperX’s arsenal, and absolutely delivers on its promise of functional, comfortable, and budget-conscientious quality.

Tonight, some of us will learn the real magic.

Our Weekend In Gaming: NERDS

While most of the Co-Opticrew is spending the weekend doing cool stuff like playing video games and board games, some of us will be really nerdin' it up with some Dungeons and Dragons.  I mean, honestly, who would want to spend a few hours a week hanging out with their friends, having a good time, rolling dice, and collectively telling a dope story?  Certainly not me.
