Watchmen: The End Is Nigh Co-Op Review

Rorschach's Journal, August 17, 2009.  The city lies black and misty below me.  I hear a child's scream, cutting through the night like a tire tread through a dog's burst stomach.  Found child in a sleazy apartment.  Turns out wasn't a child, but a full grown man.  Rocks back and forth, sucking thumb... obviously disturbed.  I check for injuries.  Looks at face, shrieks like a bat out of hell, and runs away.  Notice TV is on.  On screen, I see myself, standing next to Daniel.  Seems they've made a video game about us.  Liberal media dragging me into their pitiful attempts to corrupt society.  Still, intrigued by the concept.  Pick up the controller.  Feels odd in my hands.  Must see if name has been marred by media agenda.

Watchmen: The End is Nigh Details Turn Your Brain Into a Squid

This week, the film version of Watchmen is released on DVD/Bluray.  Along with the movie comes the second half of the tie in game, Watchmen: The End is Nigh.  You'll recall that the first part was made available when the movie was released in theaters this past spring.  The pricing and release date information have been made available, and it's so confusing that your brain just might turn into a mildly telepathic alien squid when you try to comprehend it.

Co-Op Release Alert: Watchmen: The End is Nigh

In case you've been living under a rock, there's this little comic book movie coming out this week: Watchmen.  It just happens to be the greatest story ever told in comic book format, and the hype for the movie's release has been through the roof.  The inevitable movie tie-in game bucks the usual trend, releasing on XBLA and PSN instead of retail.  The first of a series of episodic content, Watchmen: The End Is Nigh will set you back $20.  (Seems high to me!  Who do they think we are, Ozymandias?)
