It's not every day you find a mobile game with co-op. It's also not every day that said mobile game looks gorgeous and has explodey bombs, too. Eric Froemling's party game BombSquad for Android and OUYA managed to squeeze all of that into a single package.

If you completely forgot this game was coming out, don't worry, you're not the only one. Freedom Wars just sort of appeared this October in North America and Europe, launching its multiplayer and co-op combat gameplay just for PS Vita. With any luck, everyone will start paying attention to it now, as it looks fantastic.

Instead of criminals fighting other mere humans for a chance to earn freedom, our customizable big-eyed anime convicts are set to wage war against a slew of monstrous enemies. 

For decades Japan has continued to make games unlike those made in America or Europe, but previews of these games are fraught with doubt as many of them don't make the leap to our shelves.  This is not the case with Freedom Wars; it has just been announced for EU and US markets.
