THQ has unveiled the collector's edition for Warhammer 40K: Space Marine, the upcoming 3rd person action game set in the gritty Warhammer universe. While details of the cooperative gameplay elements of Space Marine have yet to be revealed, we do know the game will offer some sort of co-op mode or modes.
Epic Games have unveiled the Epic Edition (oh..I see what they did there) of Gears of War 3 today along with a limited version of of the game. The limited version will set you back an extra $20 for a few goodies like a COG flag, an unlockable multiplayer character and the will of Adam Fenix. The Epic edition will include all of the above as well as a Marcus Fenix statue and other goodies.
If you thought Activision couldn't out do the night vision goggles from Modern Warfare 2 - think again. Today they've announced the Hardened and Prestige Editions of Call of Duty: Black Ops. The cream of the crop Prestige Edition comes with a remote controlled surveillance vehicle inspired by the RC-XD from the game. It has a range of up to 200 feet and contains a fully-functioning remote camera that transmits both video and audio to the handset. Sounds perfect for those in home remote pest control situations - though you'll have to supply your own explosive C4.
The rumor has held true, today Lionhead has officially announced the PC version of Fable 3 launching alongside the already announced Xbox 360 version. The price of the Windows version is set for $49.99. There's no word yet if cross platform play will be available, but we'll keep our fingers crossed for co-op play between the Windows and Xbox world!
Splinter Cell Conviction is set to launch on February 23rd and with it comes a special collector's edition. It just wouldn't be proper release without some special box. Included in the box:
