Why go physical when digital is proving so lucrative?

[UPDATED] LEGO Dimensions Coming to an End

One of my favorite couch co-op games from the past couple years has been LEGO Dimensions. My wife and I enjoyed picking up the (at times, confusing) expansion packs that added some of our favorite franchises to the title, and playing through new worlds and familiar ones with some of our favorite characters from pop culture. It appears, though, that all of that may be coming to an end.

Remaining Year Two Franchises for LEGO Dimensions Get Release Dates

LEGO Dimensions may be nearing the end of its second year post-release, but it certainly hasn't been any slouch in adding to its impressive franchise roster this year. Last year, Warner Bros. promised 16 new franchises in Year Two, and since then they've made good on that promise with 13 of them. Just recently, they announced that September 15th will see the launch of the remaining three.

Fantastic Beasts Expansion for LEGO Dimensions Spotted in the Wild

We knew that more expansions for LEGO Dimensions would be coming this fall, including a new "story pack" expansion based on the 2016 Ghostbusters movie. Thanks to a Twitter user snapping a quick picture from an Argos (a UK digital retailer) catalogue, we now also know that the title will be getting a "story pack" based on the upcoming Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them movie.

LEGO Dimensions Co-Op Review

I was initially attracted to LEGO Dimensions for one reason: you could play as the Doctor and fly the T.A.R.D.I.S. I expected it would be a fun little side thing in the game, but that’s all. What I did not expect was for TT Games and Warner Bros to incorporate all the best bits of so many intellectual properties into one cohesive form while r...

Behold: The Hanna-Barbera Dimension

LEGO Dimensions Players Stumbled Into Flintstones and Jetsons Worlds

Some clever video game spelunkers recently uncovered a pair of easter eggs hidden away in LEGO Dimensions. Apparently, LEGO exhumed and then dusted off the long-dormant, classically beloved (not to mention chronologically opposed) cartoons The Flintstones and The Jetsons. Not that Batman, Gandalf, and crew can actually go kick it with Fred or George, but you can break into their houses and smash all of their furniture!
