Mac owners can finally get their fill of shooting witch doctors and nodding approvingly at the sturdy mustache of a certain professor. Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt, the third DLC campaign for Borderlands 2, has just been released for Mac and is available to purchase via Steam for $9.99. Huzzah and such!

Borderlands 2 is kicking off a new year with its third DLC release, “Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt.” We’re taken to a new continent called Aegrus that’s a little more like the swamps of Dagobah than the deserts of Tatooine. No lost pirate treasure or Ultimate Badass competition this time around, just some bonding with “naturalist” Sir Hammerlock through the hunting (and killing) of the indigenous wildlife. Leave it to some crazy professor once employed by Hyperion to spoil the fun.

Borderlands 2 is only a couple of weeks away from release, and the itch to play the game is overwhelming. To make matters worse, we watched a video like the one in this article of our own free will. For any co-op gamer, it’s useful for both extreme relief and extreme torture, seeing only a small portion of how much co-op potential the game has. All we want to do is play it in the very near future.
