We've been waiting for Diesel Legacy: The Brazen Age, the upcoming fighting game from Maximum Entertainment, for almost a year now. You just don't see many cooperative fighting games, after all. Well, gamers won't have to wait too much longer for Diesel Legacy, as the game will be launching on consoles and PC on December 3. That's just a couple of months away!

The Co-Opticrew is jumping into a preview build of MechWarrior 5: Clans tackling two missions and talking about some of the new stuff that's being brought to the table. MechWarrior 5: Clans is a departure from the other MechWarrior game to date: it features heavy cinematics, a deep narrative that unfolds with a squad of pilots who - despite their differences, and reasons for being there, all come together to further their cause in a galactic battle.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge is one of the most popular beat 'em ups of the last few years, so it came as no surprise when the game received a DLC entitled "Dimension Shellshock." We even interviewed the developer, Tribute Games, about it. What did come as a surprise, however, is when Xbox published a trailer for a second DLC called "Radical Reptiles" today. No press release was sent out, and the DLC doesn't seem to be available just yet. Update: The DLC went live on September 24!
Back in June, Atari announced that paid DLC for Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration was in the works, along with an Expanded Edition that will bundle the original collection and DLC. At last, that DLC is close to being released. it's coming out on September 26, and it's called "The Wider World of Atari." Atari is too cool to reveal the games that will be included just yet, but we're crossing our fingers for some co-op titles anyway.
The Care Bears have always been a decently popular children's property, but they've never had a proper console game (just a GameBoy Advance title). That will change on October 24 when Forever Entertainment releases Care Bears: To The Rescue on Switch and Steam. This one is based on the Care Bears: Unlock the Magic show that's apparently streamable on Max, and it will support 4-player local co-op, baby. That's enough players for a real Care Bear Stare, I reckon.
This has been a great year for Ninja Turtles games, and it's not over yet. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed from Outright Games and AHeartfulofGames is due out on October 18. Possibly the most ambitious TMNT game this year, Mutants Unleashed will feature a new story based on the most recent film, lots of fresh mutants to battle, and 2-player local co-op. The latest gameplay trailer provides a tantalizing glimpse of the Turtles action to come!
The popular Funko Pops toyline finally has a full game to call its own. Funko Fusion, from 10:10 Games and Skybound Games, has arrived on consoles and Steam. The third-person action game features over 60 playable Funko Pop characters and levels taken from more than 20 franchises. Surprisingly, however, the co-op multiplayer that was promised back in May is nowhere to be seen. As it turns out, co-op will arrive in November through an update.
A year ago, Forever Entertainment announced Night Slashers: Remake, a modern remake of the classic Data East arcade beat 'em up. The remake will feature updated 2D visuals, a new playable character, and 4-player local co-op. The wait will soon be over because Night Slashers: Remake is due on consoles and Steam on September 26.
Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive's Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has been a long time coming - the first game debuted over 10 years ago! The wait is nearly over, thankfully, as the game will fully launch on September 9. Players who preordered the fancy editions of the game are already enjoying its 3-player online co-op and PvP modes, but the rest of us won't have to wait too much longer.
When Game Mill Entertainment announced Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports early in the summer, gamers had two questions: why isn't this called "Space Jam," and when is it coming out? Just a few days ago, Activision released the first trailer for the Zombies mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. That thing was scary! I'm still scared. But I need to get over it, because even more Zombies details have arrived. This year's Zombies mode will feature a Guided mode to help ease players into the always-too-hard co-op mode, an optional third-person camera, and more. We're talking about spooky stuff, but it's cool nonetheless.
