We've covered The Behemoth (the Castle Crashers dev) on several occasions. With their blog up and running, they've been slowly revealing more and more info about their 4 player knight-fest. However, in the past few days, while apparently Co-Optimus has been taking a nap, The Behemoth has released, well, a behemoth of details; this includes new weapons, characters, and a new item type: animal orbs.
Looks like the cast list won't just be limited to homo sapians, with the inclusion of a member of the Ursidae family. The weapons are also getting a bump, with the barbarians and Knights of Nii getting represented. And of course there are animal orbs, which really deserve to be told in Behemoth's own words. Well, it looks like Castle Crashers indeed will be a quirky and fun affair, which we've come to expect. Besides, what part of playing as a polar bear with a fish as a weapon (and a cat as an aide) doesn't sound cool?
I don't care about all of this news. I just want to know when I can play it!!!
I'm pretty sure I die a little each day I read about Castle Crashers news and don't get to play it. Playing Alien Hominid and Golden Axe simultaneously just isn't the same.
